A Jewish Soviet prisoner, who yearns to see his children one final time, suddenly wakes up in modern Australia. Thing is, his children are here too, and whether they are ready to see him is another question. The film weaves together history, real life memory, and identity, drawing from the life of Tamir's great-great-grandfather, who endured Stalin's prisons. A perspective on the immigrant and diasporic experience, examining the alienation, confusion and homesickness that haunt those who are displaced.

Years after escaping Iran, Amir admits a final secret to his old friend, Bahar, through text. Yet his message remains unread: a haunting reminder that she, unlike him, never survived the regime. Based on the words of Tamir's friend Amir, it is dedicated to Amir's friend Bahar and the countless others murdered during the 2022 and 2026 protests in Iran. The film explores the digital afterlife by utilizing Bahar's Instagram profile as its source material, a static archive of art and life that remains online while she cannot.
